Peace seems like a hopeless dream,

For hopeless people to grasp upon.

The Queens’ prepared World War III speech has been revealed,

As a reminder of constant arguments.

 

Nuclear weapons, guns and daggers,

All weapons for the fearful.

These are the things which could have started,

A 1983 Cold War.

 

Would the Queens fears have been kept quiet,

If it wasn’t for the thirty year rule?

A speech of bravery, battle and survival,

Terrors, yet freedom and strength.

 

A lesson has been taught to all of us though,

With the revelation of such a touching speech.

Should we really let some peoples pitiful emotions lead to thousands of tragic deaths?

And peace may seem like an out of grasp dream, but that shouldn’t stop us from trying.
